In addition to following a generally healthy diet, Vanessa Hudgens has experimented with intermittent fasting and the keto diet. 

The actress focuses on whole ingredients and things she can pronounce. That means no preservatives or chemicals for Vanessa.

She told Parade, “I try to get in all my nutritional needs so greens and fats and omegas.”

She’s a pescatarian

Vanessa is a pescatarian, like fellow Disney alum, Miley Cyrus diet.

Vanessa told Parade that she doesn’t eat meat but does eat fish.

Sushi and salmon are a few of her favorite meals. 

As for Vanessa’s diet motto, she told SHAPE, if it’s real, she’ll eat it.

Intermittent fasting involves cycling between periods of eating and fasting, while the keto diet is a high-fat, low-carb diet that aims to put the body in a state of ketosis.

She typically fasts for 18 hours each day, consuming her meals within a 6-hour window.

She follows a keto diet

Similarly, Vanessa has also tried the keto diet as a way to boost her energy and mental clarity. 

While she has found it challenging to stick to the strict guidelines of the diet long-term, she has incorporated some keto-friendly foods into her meals and snacks, such as avocados, nuts, and coconut oil.

She eats two big meals a day

Since Vanessa does intermittent fasting, her meal plan for weight loss is different.

As Vanessa revealed, she doesn’t always eat in the morning.

Vanessa told Parade, “With the fasting, I typically have two big meals with some snacks and little things in between. But primarily it’s just two big meals.”

Her go-to breakfast is crispy rice with vegetables, avocado, and eggs.

Like Kate Hudson, Vanessa swears by Pilates.

Vanessa is a big fan of Pilates and credits it with helping her stay toned and maintain good posture.

She told Shape, “I’ve just gotten back into Pilates with a reformer. It works your muscles like nothing else.”

Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that focuses on building core strength, flexibility, and muscle tone. 

In another interview, Vanessa said sometimes she does Pilates and Soul; Cycle back-to-back. 

She revealed, “And some days when I have the time, I love doing Pilates first and then going over to Soul Cycle. I love a double-up!”

She sweats it out with hot yoga

Vanessa is all about namaste.

Hot yoga, or Bikram yoga, is a form of yoga that takes place in a heated room. 

It is designed to promote flexibility, balance, and endurance. 

Vanessa has shared that she finds hot yoga to be a challenging but rewarding workout. Additionally, the Disney star enjoys the mental and physical benefits it provides.
